Educational Equity Convening
On Thursday, January 22, 2026, Notre Dame of Maryland University and Transform Mid-Atlantic will cohost a statewide convening discussing educational equity in Maryland’s K–12 schools. Educators, higher education leaders, community partners, and students will come together to examine where equity is being achieved and where gaps remain in order to strengthen opportunities for all young people.
Participants will leave with a clearer, shared vision of equity, have made connections across multiple stakeholders and explored ways to collaborate in advancing equity in the future. This program is supported by a MLK grant from Youth Service in America.
We will be convening in Fourier Hall (intersection of Homeland Avenue and North Charles Street) on the NDMU campus. Registration is free, but you must register to attend. Parking is free and light refreshments will be provided. Students and youth are encouraged to attend.
